The neighborhood theater
I hope neighborhood theaters stay open, so kids can keep watching movies with their families. This reel is the idea behind the theater site I built on my own.
A collection of short videos I create for Small Batch Works. Each starts with a familiar moment in a small business and uses a different visual concept to explore a problem, introduce a small tool, or imagine an easier way to work. Each video is also an opportunity to explore how an idea can become a short visual story.

A Halloween home tour is easier to run than it sounds: a simple sign-up, and a pin on the map for every street.
I start with one real moment from a small business, the kind you would see on an ordinary day. Then I ask what one little tool could make the work behind that moment easier, and I build the reel around that single idea.
I use AI tools to help produce footage, and I direct, edit, and finish every reel myself.
The story behind each reel lives in Field Notes.
